You will want to decide where you are going to post, and make a schedule to stay consistent. Do research on what SFG ads are already placed in those area’s as to avoid as much competition problems as possible. If you have a good strong plan going into your marketing, you will get the best return for the investment (both time and money!).

Post ads where there will be an upcoming event or meeting. You will want to start this process 30-60 days prior to the event. Use the events to leverage our leadership and culture. Submit in the larger cities as you will reach a greater number of people for the cost. Research where the greatest lead-volume is and target those cities. Another strategy is to place ads where there are strong team members and management. (4-5) locations, post 2-3+ ads a day, over 2-3 days, 4th day, go back to the ads you posted on the 1st day, replace and repeat.

Late evening (after midnight) or early morning, depending on time zone for the location you are posting the ad. This will help with getting your ad to the top of the page. Post consistently! Every 2 days you will need to re-post and change your ad. Renew the ads based on how they perform. Keeping the ad fresh and on the first page will give you a better return on your investment. This is easily maintained by mapping where to recruit, and what time zone they are in. A great resource for this is google maps. You can do a custom map by searching the help center for google.

Do Not use SFG LOGO’s ! Submit ad to agency owner before you post. If you don‘t conform to Craigslist standards, you will be flagged and the account can be terminated. The rules change frequently, don’t risk it! By writing your own ads, you will be attracting people who are more likely to identify with your communication. Ads should not contain anything about “Passive Income” or Building a team. Remember people dont want to read long-winded ads. Don’t place an ad over the top of someone else. If someone already has a post, wait 24 hrs then free to post.

When writing a new ad, remember to think from the perspective of the kind of person that will fit best on your team. It’s good to include a general description of what we do, and mention extensive training systems or a proven system. Be sure to re-state, what kind of person you are looking for and include contact instructions.
