How to do your 2nd Interview

Tips on Finding Their Why

Hands down this is one of the MOST  important Steps in the entire process, WHY are they looking for a change, WHY are they interested in Symmetry?  Finding out someone’s Why will ultimately determine how you work with them, hold them accountable, and even motivate them to continue on, even when times are tough or when they feel defeated.  Just like in the home, you may need to become vulnerable and share YOUR why first, in order for them to completely open up. You are going to want to write this down on their EMQ, result it in the form below, and keep it for future use.

How to Explain the 3 Non-Negotiables

Once you have their why, this is the part where you begin to hold your new agent accountable and set the bar on what will be needed from them in order for you to help them accomplish what it is they set out to do & to get what they want from Symmetry.  Click on the ” Round 2 Second Interview”  button to open up the script on how to find their why and then state the non-negotiables and setting the expectations for the Game Plan Session.

The 2nd interview ~ Take Their Temperature
After the recruit has called you back and stated that he indeed feels like Symmetry would be a good fit for them, you will proceed with a 2nd interview. The purpose of the 2nd interview is to find out where the prospective agents head is at in terms of their level of interest with Symmetry, based on what they have seen up to this point. There is an easy way to do this based on a simple Scale of 1-10 approach.  I call it taking their Temperature

So (name) based on what you have seen so far, on a scale of 1 -10, 1 being I am sort of interested, not really sure what I want to do at this point, maybe give it a try  and see how it goes, I have tons of questions and a lot of iron in the fire right now and really Symmetry is 1 of my many options at this point, and 10 being,  I am very excited about the potential in this opportunity, yes I have some questions however I am confident in the fact that you will answer them along the way, whether it be 3 hours a day, 3 hours a week, or 30 hours a week, I ‘m ready to learn, be trained by the best,  I’m your clay, mold me and just show me what I got to do next!!

 So on that scale of 1-10 where do you see yourself fitting in? ______________ 

Any number they say less than 10 simply say:

So is that based on the opportunity itself or the amount of time you have to put into it? ______________a lot of times they will say the amount of time, if so then you can simply say, ok if time wasn’t an issue and you could invest all the time you wanted into it, would that bring you closer to a 10?  wait for answer, if they say yes then say  great where about do you think you would fall on the scale then? if the say 7-10 proceed to say what is in 7-10.  If they say its actually based on the opportunity itself and they have a lot of questions they need answered or start asking you questions about leads, contract levels etc etc etc, you will proceed to say exactly what is under 1-6)

If the final result is:

1-6:

Great (name)  actually we have a series of videos that were designed specifically for someone like yourself who has a lot of questions or isn’t quite “sold” on the company ( or whatever it was that they indicated whey they were only a 1-6)  I like to refer to them as “101 Questions everybody has PRIOR to getting involved with our company”   The Company refers to them as “Fast Track Training” It’s a series of 6 videos that are between 15-30 minutes longs and are going to cover, what we say on the phone, what we say in the home, scripts, what products and services we sell and offer, the difference between mortgage protection and mortgage payment protection,  how our compensation plan works, how your get promoted, levels of leadership, levels of leads, contract levels etc etc etc, anything and everything you have questions on, and even things that you didn’t even know you had questions on will be covered in these videos. This “101 questions everyone has prior to getting involved with our company, or Fast Track Training, is actually done by 2 of the 3 owners of the company which is very impressive to me as they BOTH built this company, debt free, hands on, from the ground up, doing EXACTLY what it is that they expect us to do. I really have tremendous respect for what they created as opposed to sitting in an ivory tower somewhere, ruling with an iron fist, they weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty which resulted from the company growing from $300k their first year in business, to over $120 Million in sales last year 

7-10:

Ok great, so let’s get into how to Get Started. It states here on your questionnaire that this is something you are looking to do (PT/FT) What does that look like in terms of fitting Symmetry into your current schedule?

This should be lightly glazed over if they are not licensed yet and obviously gone into much deeper if they are licensed.   If they state they would like to do this PT around their job and they have a job that requires 60 hours a week of their time, you will want to address how they plan to fit Symmetry into their schedule.  This can be covered in GREATER detail in their Gameplan Session.

Below you will find the which email they will receive, based on whether or not you set up a GamePlan Session with them, or if you are allowing them to do that for themselves.  Even if you want them to set up a GamePlan Session with someone other than yourself, the system will allow them and instruct them to do so in the actual email itself.

You will have the opportunity to hear from 2 of our founders and owners, Brandon Ellison and Casey Watkins.  Along with Brian Pope,  these gentleman single-handedly built Symmetry from the ground up.  What is most impressive is that In just the last hand full of years, by  doing exactly what they are training and expecting us to do, taking leads, calling to set appointments, and driving to their homes to enroll them in mortgage protection, they turned it into a 100 million dollar company, all while not taking on a single dollar of Debt. 

In this short series of videos, you will get questions answered on what we do in the home, what we say on the phone, how you get promoted, what products we market to who and why, how the commissions are paid, how leads are distributed,  and virtually any question you could come up with to ask,  even questions you may not know that you even have yet. 

The “101 Questions everybody has prior to getting involved with Symmetry Financial Group” or “ Fast Track Training”  is broken up into 6 ~ 12-30 minutes short videos, and should not take more than 2 hours to view.
