As silly as it may sound, many people get involved in a business (and YES you are now self-employed, and this is a business) expecting to dedicate the same time, energy, and effort into the business based on the results it yields in the beginning. As smart as this may sound to some people, and dumb as it may sound to successful people, expecting your business to produce the results you want without putting in the effort, is as silly as expecting a fire to give you heat without first chopping the wood! You can’t expect your business to produce results without FIRST putting in the necessary time, energy, and effort into making the necessary changes in YOU, and going through the steps required in order to get the results you want.

NOTE: XCEL TESTING now does our internal Fast Track Training through its portal. You will simply need to create a new profile by using the signup form if you did not take your license class with XCEL. If you did your License class with XCEL, you can use that same login to access Fast Track. When asked what office/Branch, just put in the City and Sate you are in and make sure your Manager is your closest Upline Agency Owner. (if you do not know who this is, ask.)
This Training is a series of 6 (15 to 30-minute videos) on what I like to called “101 questions everybody has prior to getting involved with Symmetry.” During this training you will here from our founders and owners Brandon Ellison and Casey Watkins, who single-handedly built this company from the ground up by going into the field and DOING EXACTLY what they are training and expect us TO DO!!! You will learn what we do in the home, what we say on the phone, how you get promoted, what products we market to who and why, how the commissions are paid, how leads are distributed, and virtually any question you could come up with to ask, even questions you may not know that you even have yet. This training can be accomplished in your first day, but should NOT take more than 48 hours if you are serious about your business, as this is less than a 2-hour training broken up in 6 separate parts.
**There are six phases in the FastTrack Training Program; you will have 48 hours to complete the training once you start. After successfully completing each phase, the next one will appear in your dashboard (there may be a delay of a minute or two before your next phase loads). You must watch the video for each phase before attempting the quiz. A grade of 80 or better is required to pass each quiz; quizzes can be taken multiple times. Once you’ve passed each quiz, download your Certificate of Completion to present to your upline manager.

As the “Getting Started Video” indicated, mapping out your success is one of the most important things you can do when getting started with Symmetry. This will also give your mentor the necessary information on how to most effectively work with you to help you accomplish what it is that you are setting out to do. Please print out your “Outlining Your Success Worksheet” to keep track of your progress and begin mapping out your success.
Just like with any business, it is important to have a PLAN!!! Unfortunately, most people spend more time picking out a birthday present for a friend then they ever do in designing a LIFE! Symmetry is one of the most predictable businesses that is out there and the “Science behind the numbers” is irrefutable. The Combination to Your Safe has been created from over 20 years of Mortgage Protection data, tracking thousands of agents phone calls, appointments set & sat, and hundreds of thousands of applications submitted, policies approved, declined & or not taken, to come up with the “Averages” that the formulas are based off of. This is in NO WAY a guarantee, as we all know there are no guarantees in life, but rather a prediction based on some pretty definite data tracking. Once your Mentor/Manager has your ‘Outlining to Success Worksheet” they will be able to go over your “Combination to your safe” which will show you EXACTLY what you are going to need to do in order to accomplish what you indicated on your form.
With over 20 years of experience in training and development and the tens of thousands of individuals who I have had the pleasure of working with over the years, the 1 thing I have come to the conclusion on, is that people really aren’t looking for a guarantee! Most intelligent individuals have come to the realization that there are no “guarantees” in life. No one can guarantee that their boss won’t make a stupid decision that will cost them their career, the company they work for won’t downsize, the company won’t close, they won’t get fired, or guarantee anything else won’t happen that will cost them their income for that matter. People don’t want guarantees, they want predictability!!! And once you see the combination to your safe, the numbers and data that it is based upon, you will get just what you are looking for, predictability. This is hands down the most predictable business I have ever been in.

- SCHEDULE TO BE ON THE CONFERENCE CALLS: It is extremely important to begin to surround yourself with the most successful people in Symmetry and learn from the ones who are out there making it happen and doing it the RIGHT way. And how do you do this, by getting on the conference calls to receive training from the top producers and also getting updates from the company about new products to offer to our potential clients, and as well as new product trainings. It is amazing how many questions we still get in terms of what to do in the home, how to overcome certain objections, like I want to think about it, how and when to use full mortgage payoff vs mortgage payment protection, when nearly ALL of these questions are covered on the conference calls by the EXPERTS that are out in the field doing what it is you are trying to do every day.
So make sure to respect the time of the mentors and or your managers by being willing to invest time in yourself. You have to ask yourself, If you were them and they were you, and you had the opportunity to work with agents who actually took the time to follow the system and continue to be plugged into the pulse of the company, or an agent that was too lazy to do so, WHO WOULD YOU choose to invest your time into?
